Dr. Monique Batchelor, OD

Dr. Monique Batchelor, OD, is a dedicated optometrist with more than 15 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients aged 3 and older across Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wofford College and later received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Throughout her career, Dr. Batchelor has developed expertise in several advanced areas of optometry. She provides myopia management, helping slow the progression of nearsightedness. In addition to myopia care, Dr. Batchelor is skilled in specialty contact lens fittings, including scleral contact lenses, which are often used for patients with complex corneal conditions, dry eye disease, or irregular corneas. Dr. Batchelor’s clinical work also includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, astigmatism, cataracts, and retinal disorders. Her approach focuses on early detection, advanced diagnostic imaging, and individualized treatment plans that support long-term eye health.   She is known for taking time with her patients, ensuring they understand their eye health and the best options for maintaining clear vision.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Batchelor enjoys living a balanced life centered around family, community, and recreation. She enjoys spending time with her family and staying active, including playing kickball. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Dr. Lynns Chacko, OD

Dr. Chacko is a board-certified optometrist specializing in comprehensive family eye care, with a strong focus on both medical and preventative vision services. She provides thorough eye examinations for patients ages 6 and older and is experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and went on to complete her optometry education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her strong academic background supports her evidence-based approach to eye care and vision management.

With advanced expertise in medical eye care, Dr. Chacko treats and diagnoses conditions such as dry eye disease, diabetic retinopathy, ocular infections, and other eye health concerns. She also specializes in fitting specialty contact lenses, including lenses for patients with unique visual or corneal needs.

A key area of Dr. Chacko’s practice is myopia control. She is dedicated to helping children and families slow the progression of nearsightedness through customized treatment plans and the latest myopia management technologies.

Guided by her Christian faith, Dr. Chacko approaches patient care with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to serving others. She is devoted to building long-term relationships with her patients and providing personalized care that supports clear, comfortable vision at every stage of life.
