Dr. Batchelor is an Optometrist in Snellville providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.
As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Batchelor provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. With this background, Dr. Batchelor is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Batchelor works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. Dr. Monique Batchelor is a native of Union, SC. She recieved a bachelor of science degree in biology from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. She then continued her studies at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and graduated with a doctorate in optometry. Dr. Batchelor completed internships at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC and All Ages Vision Care, a vision therapy practice, in Charlotte, NC.
Through her internships and continuing education courses, she has training in pediatric exams, vision therapy, contact lens fitting, adult primary care, and the identification and treatment of ocular disease.
Dr. Batchelor has a GA and SC license to practice optometry and is certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic drugs. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Cornea and Contact Lens sections of AOA.
Dr. Batchelor is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, a public service sorority. She enjoys mentoring to young adults, attending church, reading, sports, and activities with her family.
