Orthokeratology (Ortho-K)

Ortho-K lenses are custom contact lenses worn overnight to gently reshape the front of the eye. This non-surgical option allows clear daytime vision without needing glasses or contacts. Ortho-K is great for active kids, teens, and adults, and has also been shown to slow down the worsening of nearsightedness over time. Ortho-K is sometimes recommended to correct children’s vision. Vision can continue to change for some children into adulthood and their 20’s. Vision correction surgeries like LASIK are not recommended until vision is stable.
